Welcome to Northcliffe Allotments Society
Northcliffe Allotments as the name suggests is situated in Northcliffe Park, Shipley, BD18 3DD. We are quite a large site, with over 160 plots of different shapes and sizes split between two fields, with a few minutes walk between them.
The site is run by Northcliffe Allotment Society which is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The committee is elected annually by its members and we have several working parties and row reps who support the work of the committee. The society is here to run the site but also supports its members through practical help including tool hire, bulk buys and practical classes and talks.
The society runs events that are open to the wider community, such as the annual plant swap with refreshments, bonfire night with food, and winter solstice festivities. We are currently developing a new community space and orchard that will eventually be open to the public.
